Erika Jayne Caught A Break; Lawyers Set To Return After Withdrawing Representation

Awww, I guess clouds have a silver lining after all! The only thing Erika Jayne needs more than a stylist break are some attorneys and it looks like she’s in luck. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star can breathe easy for about, oh, five minutes or so. Erika has been suffering from theft accusations of embezzling funds after estranged husband Tom Girardi represented clients who never got paid.

Erika might have the dubious honor of being the most unethical person on Bravo, and oh my dear lord, that is saying something. Numerous court cases are looming and chances are pretty good they can’t buy their innocense or pay to keep others quiet. Speaking of paying, on Monday, Erika’s entire team of attorneys quit without much warning and left her to hang in the wind unrepresented. Thankfully Erika must have woken up with a clear mind, free of pretend amnesia and remembered where her wallet is. It’s a lucky day in Beverly Hills for Erika because, they’re baaaaaaack.

All kidding aside, this is a very small win for Erika because one has to assume lawyers are not lining up to support a now disgraced-attorney’s wife. It’s one thing to defraud the government or make a quick buck on a sketchy real estate sale, but Erika and Tom’s alleged schemes have taken money out of the hands from people who deserve it and their stories are heartbreaking. EJ and No Longer Big Tommy are trying to prove they did not profit from other people’s tragedies to fund their lavish lifestyle and given their penchant for showing off, their denials of wrongdoings are seemingly pathetic at this juncture.

This week Erika’s lawyers dumped her as a client stating, “The relationship of trust and confidence that is essential to a properly functioning attorney-client relationship has broken down and, in the good faith assessment of counsel, the relationship is irreparable.” But apparently it is reparable if they get paid. It looks like this was a case of EJ holding out on payment for services rendered and the attorneys not giving any fucks and calling her bluff.

Yesterday, RHOBH truth-seeker Ronald Richards made the announcement on Twitter. He wrote, “Erika Jayne’s attorneys have now withdrawn their motion to withdraw. Apparently the urgent and immediate breakdown of the attorney client relationship has now been miraculously fixed.” MIRACLES, WE LOVE THEM! What this probably means – the lawyers were pissed because Erika wasn’t paying them and they were all, “sell that Panther ring” and she was like, “um, I think that was stolen“, and they didn’t think that was cute so they took their briefcases and went home. Somehow Erika got some fast cash and it could be from selling more designer clothes online. Oh come on, you know you want a lightly-used anti-fashion moment that was purchased with blood money.

According to Radar, before allowing EJ to go back to pawning her stuff, the courts wanted to make sure the assets were actually hers and not Tom’s. Now that the bad taste has been determined to be hers, Erika is permitted to get rid of it. Maybe friend ’til the end and Fox Force Five member Kyle Richards swooped in with a big check to get Erika out of hot water. If Kyle is handing out cash, perhaps she can do us all a solid and buy Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave a personality. In about 12 months, Erika and Kyle can fight about this on camera with EJ shouting, “YOU STOLE MY GODDAMNED RENTED HOUSE“… Stay tuned.
