Kelly Dodd “Grateful For Love And Support” Following Real Housewives Exit

Reality TV

Kelly Dodd Real Housewives of Orange County

Before Real Housewives of Orange County even started airing Season 15, fans were calling for Kelly Dodd to get fired. She really didn’t cause much controversy on the show itself last season, but on social media, she ignited a lot of outrage following her many comments about the coronavirus pandemic and racial tensions in the United States.

Some people even claimed to boycott watching the series since the controversies started to ramp up after it was already filmed. Kelly makes good TV, for sure, but what about all of the outrage? Well, she got fired. Her contract wasn’t renewed. She won’t be on the show next season and neither will Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas. Oh, and Heather Dubrow is back. Wow. That’s a lot to take in.

Following the news, Kelly tweeted, “The last five years have been an amazing experience. The next five years will be even better. I am so grateful for all the love and support and so excited about the future #RHOC.”

In response, a fan wrote, “Thank you for truly opening your life to all of us and giving us some of the most iconic #RHOC moments. You will absolutely not be forgotten. Wishing you all the best in your future. You are a queen forever.”

Another tweeted, “Will miss you! A favorite!” I really expected her to go full blaze of glory with her exit from Bravo, just like a certain former Atlanta Housewife. Will Kelly spill more tea in time?
