At 55, Angela’s decision to get weight loss surgery stuck many as odd, alongside husband Michael, who suggested they save for their baby. But Angela does what she wants, and 100 pounds later, the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? cast member has been rocking a shockingly skinny body while looking healthy and fit. Recent pictures of Angela did suggest that losing weight may have given her a wrinkled and haggard look, but the meemaw has put the rumors to rest.

Episode eight of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? follows Angela to Hazelhurst, as she’s shown recovering from her six surgeries in Los Angeles. Five weeks since her operations, Angela had lost 40 pounds, and started calling herself “sexy meemaw” and admitting she made “the exact right choice” to get surgery. However, even during recovery, Angela hadn’t stopped her cigarette addiction, smoking 10 in a day. Additionally, Angela also revealed she wasn’t exercising, claiming that her energy levels were depleted after homeschooling five grandkids for five hours every day.
In her recent weight loss reveal on her Instagram Stories, Angela shocked fans by posing in New York and dressing up differently for a change. On 90 Day Fiancé, Angela’s ill-fitting clothes were never appreciated, but now the confident meemaw is rocking slim-fit jeans and a snug and comfortable tee with black slippers instead. Her usually unkempt hair is tied back and accentuated with rainbow-colored extensions to suit Angela’s colorful personality. The 90 Day Fiancé cast member happily promoted Dr. Michael K. Obeng’s plastic surgery clinic with her printed tee.
Dr. Samuel Kashani and Natasha Fett advised Angela to consider marijuana, hypnotherapy or acupuncture, but the 90 Day Fiancé star hasn’t stopped smoking yet. TLC fans agree that smoking for 40-plus years always made Angela look older than she is, and her post-weight loss appearance is no different. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers have joked that Angela looks 80 instead of her 55, and note that the plan to look 20 years younger after weight loss has gone down the drain. Fans noticed Angela’s chin and mouth sagging with excessive wrinkles; however, it could have been the 90 Day Fiancé star on a bad day.
Lately, rumors of Angela getting flirty with her doctors, Dr. Obeng and Dr. Kashani, have also been going around. Having spent her last weekend in Los Angeles, Angela, who believes “you can’t say Angela without LA,” had a jolly time partying with her new celebrity friends, including Dr. Obeng. A video of Angela winking and getting touchy-feely with Dr. Kashani also made fans uncomfortable. But that could just be Angela being her usual playful self, as she’s very much still together and happy with 90 Day Fiancé husband Michael.
