‘A Quiet Place’ Spinoff Dated for 2023 Release by Paramount!

Horror

As we learned last year, a third A Quiet Place movie is already in the works, with Jeff Nichols (Midnight Special) on board to direct a tale based on an idea by John Krasinski.

Tonight, Paramount has dated that third installment for March 31, 2023!

Deadline notes, “The pic is very early in development and simply being billed as the next installment, broadening the post-apocalyptic world introduced in the first two movies.”

Nichols is writing and directing, and it seems this new movie may not be a sequel to the first two films but rather a universe-expanding spinoff. We’ll report more as we learn it.

Meanwhile, it’s expected that the Abbott family storyline will become a trilogy.

Released in 2018, A Quiet Place was a massive hit for Paramount, introducing a post-apocalyptic world wherein monsters roam free… and if you make a sound, they will find you.

The just-released second installment continues the storyline from the first movie, starring Emily BluntMillicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe, and is another box office hit.
