Madison LeCroy, Craig Conover And Southern Charm Producers Trying To Get Lawsuit From Kathryn Dennis’ Ex Joe Abruzzo Dismissed; Joe Is Upset Over Jokes About About His Penis And Political Career

Reality TV

Southern Charm viewers are well aware that hell would have to freeze over before Craig Conover became friends with Madison LeCroy. The two have gone head-to-head since Craigy inserted himself was in the middle of her toxic relationship with his bestie Austen Kroll. The Pillow King is the one who exposed Madison for FaceTiming Alex Rodriguez during the most recent reunion. If there’s one thing Craig’s going to do, it’s defend his friends, spread gossip and never being embarrassed about his sewing. At least he’s consistent.

But Madison and Craig have come together, albeit over a lawsuit. The two are part of a suit brought against them by Kathryn Dennis’ ex Joe Abruzzo. If you don’t remember him, it’s OK — their relationship lasted about two seconds. He was another older man in politics Kathryn dated, honestly probably to make Thomas Ravenel jealous. But the two called it quits, but Joe is apparently trying to milk the most out of his 15 minutes of fame. Last year, he filed a lawsuit against Madison, Craig, Chelsea Meissner and Bravo producers for intentionally inflicting “emotional distress, fraud, negligence and defamation” on him. He’s going after $10 million from the group. Ironically, viewers probably barely even remember any scenes involving him in the first place.

To sum it up, one episode showed Madison and Chelsea discussing (and clowning) some nude photos of Joe that were allegedly floating around online. In the short scene that 90% of people probably already forgot, Madison says, “His penis looks like a Ken Doll. Like, it’s just a bulge.” Chelsea chimes in, “Look at that, it’s like a mangina.” Joe also brought the producers into it because he claims they are guilty of “intentional and malicious blurring” of the photos for no reason because his penis could not be seen. The toxic masculinity is astounding here.

Craigy is involved because he called Joe a “disgraced politician in Florida.”

To be clear, Joe served as a member of the state House of Representatives from 2016 to 2018. “He’s not running for re-election because of his divorce. His wife is accusing him of being physically abusive,” Craig said at the time. All I hear is gossip about rumors that probably were floating around on the internet at the time. Like, Craig just didn’t make up those allegations out of thin air. But Joe claims those statements showed him in a “false light.”

Now, according to court dates obtained by Radar OnlineCraig, Madison and the producers are teaming up to try to get the lawsuit dismissed. The producers asked the court to dismiss the case or move it to arbitration. They claimed Joe signed a release before appearing on Southern Charm that requires disputes to be heard in private court. At the time, the judge denied the motion and ordered the case to move forward. But last month, Craig and Madison asked the court to pause the case until the appeal is heard. As of now, the case is still ongoing while a decision has yet to be reached.
