The Challenge: Timeline Of Johnny Bananas & Morgan Willet’s Relationship

Movies

Johnny Bananas is known for his success in competitions on The Challenge, specifically his eight seasons of victory. After winning Big Brother: Over The Top in 2016 after spending the season as the underdog, Morgan Willet became known. After a successful time in the Big Brother house, Morgan went on The Challenge, where she was paired with Johnny. From there, their relationship began and has continued to grow stronger.

Johnny and Morgan’s bond was formed quite quickly, and news spread that Morgan was cheating on Jay Starrett, her Big Brother: Over The Top fling. Jay and Morgan split for a while, reunited on Ex on the Beach, and were considered one of the strongest couples. Three days after Ex on the Beach ended, Morgan went to film The Challenge where she met Johnny. After their quick elimination, Morgan, and Johnny traveled around the world together, where they clearly felt a spark and started their bond.

After their time on The Challenge, Johnny and Morgan discussed the future of their relationship. After spending two weeks alone traveling the world, they got to know each other quite well and had some serious conversations about their future. Johnny expressed his concerns about having their relationship in the public eye and followed around by cameras. He likes to separate his television personality from his personal life, which is something Morgan appreciates about him. Because of this, their relationship is more private and not documented on television.

After seeing how reality television can take a toll on relationships, Johnny and Morgan decided that it could not have an impact on their love. Johnny did not want to be in a relationship where both of them are starring on television, and Morgan realized that reality television is not her life career, so she took a step back from the spotlight. While Morgan’s time on television was short, Johnny has created a career out of it, is a strong competitor, and sees it as his profession in the long-term future. He expressed that if they were both on camera that their relationship would not work, but luckily they were on the same page and worked through this obstacle.

Like most couples, Johnny and Morgan had their concerns about how quarantine would impact their relationship. But luckily, the couple has grown stronger. With both of them being home much more than usual, they were concerned about how things would go, but they enjoyed their time home together. Opposed to spending a lot of time apart due to traveling, they have spent a lot of time at home together and they have been very happy to have that time together. Earlier this year, viewers were surprised that Johnny was not on The Challenge: Double Agents, but is not ready to retire from the series yet, even though Morgan’s time on the series is over.

Johnny and Morgan have built a strong relationship since meeting on The Challenge. They have been able to travel the world together and solidify their bond even beyond reality television. While reality television may have posed some obstacles for this couple, they have been able to work through anything that has come their way. They are looking forward to continuing their relationship and building a strong future together.
