Originally pushed back to March 2021 in the early days of the pandemic, we’ve learned today that Sony has once again set a new date for the Jared Leto-starring Morbius.

Morbius will now be taking a bite out of the big screen on January 28, 2022, one week later than the most recently scheduled release date of January 21, 2022.

Check out the previously released teaser trailer below.

Sony’s latest Spider-Man spinoff centers on Michael Morbius, a scientist who, in trying to find a cure for a rare blood disease, accidentally transforms himself into a living vampire. Though disgusted by his own bloodlust, he chooses to prey upon criminals he deems unworthy of life.

Daniel Espinosa (Life) directed the film.
