Where to Find the Swimming Time Trial in Fortnite Season 6
Starting in Week 6, players will find a Swimming Time Trial in two locations on the Fortnite Season 6 map: Coral Castle and Weeping Woods. The exact locations for each Trial are indicated on the map above. Players will find the Coral Castle Time Trial in the center of the POI and the Weeping Woods Time Trial in the river northwest of the camp grounds.
It is important to note that fans only need to do one of the two Time Trials to complete this Epic Quest. They should pick the location that makes the most sense for their other goals during a match.
Once they land at one of the two Trial locations, it is a good idea for players to grab some weapons and healing items right away. As this Epic Quest appears for every player, it is possible multiple opponents will be landing in the same spot to try and complete the Time Trial. Players will need to be prepared in case there is a fight. In addition, swimming leaves a player vulnerable, so it is a good idea to have a weapon close by in case an opponent begins firing while the player is in the water.
To begin the Time Trial, players will need to approach the blue, floating stopwatch icon in or near the water and interact with it. Once the Trial is active, the player will need to swim or jump and hit every checkpoint that spawns, doing so within the time limit. Jumping while swimming can help increase speed. It is important to time jumps well, however, as players can sometimes overshoot their mark and will need to go back for missed checkpoints, which wastes precious time needed to complete the Trial.
If players fail to complete the Time Trial in the allotted time, they can try again by interacting with the stopwatch icon. Once they hit all the checkpoints within the time limit, the Epic Quest will register as complete, and the player will earn 24,000 XP toward their Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass.
Fortnite is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android devices.
