Reality Steve apologizes to Demi Burnett for sharing ‘graphic sex dream’

“Bachelor” spoiler king Reality Steve claims he’s sorry for making unwanted sexual advances toward a former contestant.

The 45-year-old TV gossiper issued the mea culpa to Demi Burnett, 26, Wednesday, shortly after she accused him on Twitter of telling her about a creepy sex dream he had in a clumsy attempt at a come-on.

“I am apologizing now knowing how uncomfortable I made you feel,” Steve, whose last name is Carbone, tweeted in response. “I crossed boundaries I didn’t think at the time I was crossing. I did not know this until today. So for that, I hope you can accept my apology.”

Burnett, who first appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor,” also accused Steve of having a “problematic” history of spreading lies and gossip about Bachelor Nation.

“This has resulted in a sort of power you have over us,” Burnett wrote in her tweet. “Out of fear of you talking bad about us.”

She then shared she had befriended the “Bachelor” insider out of “fear” of this kind of retribution, and their friendship allowed him to become comfortable enough to share a “graphic sex dream” he had of her.

Burnett said the gossip blogger told her last August that he wanted to tell her something “bizarre” over the phone. Since she had come out as bisexual, she feared it had to do with her sexuality and obliged.

“I agreed to talk on the phone with you. Then you proceeded to tell me about a graphic sex dream you had of me,” she alleged. “I felt uncomfortable and wasn’t sure how I should handle your unwanted and unprompted sexual advance. So, I laughed and tried to get off the phone with you as quickly as possible.”

Burnett also shared a screenshot of a text conversation she claims occurred right after the call, in which she Steve told her, “And yeah I reeeeeeaally hope I can trust you with what I told you. I wanted to share it with you bc it was so random and so funny.”

Burtnett replied at the time, “I got u no worries :)”

After the former “Bachelor in Paradise” contestant made the remarks public, Steve claimed he had “no idea” the conversation had made Burnett uncomfortable.

When a fan told Steve it seemed as if his apology was putting some of the blame on Burnett, he added, “I’m not blaming her at all. I did not know about how she felt until less than an hour ago. So once I found out she felt this way, I apologized to her both personally and here on Twitter.”

Burnett has not shared whether she has accepted Steve’s apology.

Earlier this week, the blogger was also called out on the podcast Chatty Broads, hosted by former “Bachelor” contestant Bekah Martinez and her co-host Jess Ambrose.

In the episode, Martinez said of Steve, “What he’s done publicly that has been published on his website and his Twitter, etcetera are extremely problematic and show an extreme internalized bias towards just women as a whole that I think is really disturbing.”

Steve apologized for his previous remarks as well, tweeting, “There is/was no excuse for them. I’m embarrassed I thought that way, I’m embarrassed I wrote it, and ever since, I’ve done whatever I could to change that line of thinking.”

He then alluded to having changed, stating, “Those that have followed me in recent years have recognized the change in my blog, in my tweets, and on my podcast.”

This tweet is what prompted Burnett to speak up, writing, “No you haven’t changed @RealitySteve.”
