Joe Gorga Was Initially “Really Upset” With Jackie Goldschneider For Drug Analogy About Gia Giudice; Says Jackie “Really Meant” Her Apology

Reality TV

Joe Gorga Real Housewives Of New Jersey

By now, Real Housewives of New Jersey fans are well acquainted with the analogy heard around the world. Jackie Goldschneider retaliated at Teresa Giudice for spreading cheating rumors about her husband by doing the worst thing ever — bringing Tre’s kids into the mix.

She made an analogy about rumors by saying that Gia Giudice snorts cocaine at parties, and Tre flipped. Both women have refused to apologize to one another, and Jackie has stood by her comments, going as far as to say she won’t “dumb herself down” to talk to Teresa.

So it’s clear how Jackie and Teresa feel about the situation, refusing to apologize to one another. Gia also chimed in, scolding Jackie for bringing her into it. However, Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga‘s feelings about the situation were relatively unknown, until a recent episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show.

“When I first heard what happened, about the analogy, I was really upset,” Joe said. “It’s my niece. It could ruin her reputation because I know she definitely doesn’t dabble in any of that stuff.”

Melissa added she was “annoyed and aggravated” when she heard Jackie brought the kids into the argument.

However, Jackie did apologize to the Gorgas for making “the worst analogy ever,” as Melissa said, about their niece. She bombarded them the second they arrived at Evan Goldschneider‘s second birthday (don’t get me started) to express her regret.

“But when somebody runs up and apologizes 100 times and really meant it, I accepted her apology,” Joe said. And Melissa added that she “needed her” friend to do that.

“Listen, Gia’s my niece. We love her. Even though I understand what Teresa did, it’s just always rough when you bring the kids into it,” Melissa said. “It kind of puts people in the position where we have no choice — it’s a child. And we’re always going to have to be on the child’s side.”

We know Melissa and Jackie are two peas in a pod. That’s probably because Jackie tells Tre off like Melissa wishes she could. Despite her bringing their family into it, Melissa was bound to forgive her. But we know Joe will stand by his sis no matter what, so he must have really felt her apology was genuine.

“She walked right up to us and apologized and really explained herself,” Melissa added. “Like, didn’t even let us get through the door because she really wanted to show us she does value our friendship.”

Now we’ll just have to wait and see if Jackie or Teresa will ever apologize to one another. While we know Tre isn’t one for accepting blame. Maybe Gia can convince her mom to hate less and spread more love love love.
