Teresa Giudice saw red when Jackie Goldschneider made that analogy about Gia Giudice “snorting coke in the bathroom at parties.” She ran out of Margaret Josephs‘ house and said the “C” word more times than I could count.
While Teresa was in Lake George with the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast (minus Jackie), she called Gia to tell her what happened and get some advice. Gia said all the right things, telling Teresa that it was wrong for her to spread cheating allegations about Jackie’s husband Evan Goldschneider and that she handled everything in a “shitty” way. Gia encouraged Teresa to apologize to Jackie. That hasn’t happened… yet.
When Teresa conveyed Gia’s advice to the group, everyone seemed to agree that Gia made sense. However, Teresa wasn’t picking up what Gia was laying down. She demonstrated zero remorse for spreading rumors (without evidence) that Evan “does stuff at the gym.”
The viewers at home (and on Twitter) were impressed by Gia’s maturity and honesty in that moment. That’s why it was kind of surprising when Gia tweeted, “I don’t want to say every… but most of the housewives have gotten the rift of cheating or being cheated on just saying.. not saying it’s right or acceptable. but this is what you sign up for..”

Oh, girl. I get what you’re saying. Being on a reality TV show comes with a lot of perks, but it also means you’re subjected to more rumors than the rest of us. However, it really shouldn’t be some acceptable rite of passage for someone to say you’re cheating on your wife.
After that, Gia followed up with “what I said to my mom on the show last night still stands, her feelings were hurt most of the housewives know the feeling, so an apology should be given. I’m just making it aware you sign up for this show for things to come out and drama to be started between the women!!”
It’s not acceptable for Jackie to say that Teresa’s daughter does cocaine at parties (even if it’s an analogy). It’s also not acceptable for Teresa to say Jackie’s husband “does stuff at the gym.” Jackie and Teresa signed up for this show. Evan and Gia didn’t, which is part of what makes Gia’s latest remark so interesting.
