During the recent Epic Games Store Spring Showcase, developer Oddworld Inhabitants debuted a new trailer for their upcoming return of Abe and company in Oddworld: Soulstorm.
Apart from a return to the familiar gameplay of the original two Oddworld games (and looking pretty damn good in the process) and the dark storyline with a twist of humour, Soulstorm will see players having to lead more followers than ever before, as well as wield new weapons and abilities in order to make it out alive.
A complete story retake inspired by the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, Soulstorm sees Abe having to free his race from slavery and being made into food by the RuptureFarms meat processing factory.
Oddworld: Soulstorm is expected for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Games Store this spring.
