The Roots Announce Do You Want More?!!!??! Deluxe Reissue

The Roots have announced a deluxe reissue of their 1995 sophomore studio album Do You Want More?!!!??! The new, extended version arrives March 12 via Geffen/Ume. Find reworked versions of “Silent Treatment” and “Lazy Afternoon” below.

Do You Want More?!!!??! was originally released on January 17, 1995. The deluxe version of the album will be issued as a 3xLP edition (with nine bonus tracks) and a 4xLP edition (with 18 bonus tracks). Each set will include a 24-page booklet. The bonus tracks, some of which are currently unreleased, were curated by Questlove. The booklet features images taken by Mpozi Tolbert, essays by Questlove and Black Thought, as well as track-by-track commentary.

Questlove recently premiered his documentary Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the U.S. Documentary Competition’s Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award. The film, which marks Questlove’s directorial debut, has since been picked up by Hulu and Searchlight Pictures.
