Marc Daly Ends His Marriage To Kenya Moore For Good

Kenya Moore Marc Daly Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore is about to experience all sorts of drama stemming from the girls’ trip to Charleston. In the most recent episode of RHOA, Kenya flew herself, her baby daughter Brooklyn Daly, a nanny, and new bestie LaToya Ali on a private jet.

The rest of the ladies took a bus with no air conditioning. Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams were plenty steamed when they found out that Kenya brought her baby along. Meanwhile, Kenya is dealing with marital strife.

RHOA viewers learned that Kenya’s marriage to Marc Daly is not in a good place. That’s hardly a surprise. She feels like she can’t do anything without her husband’s permission. In June 2017, Kenya and Marc wed in St. Lucia. Their wedding came out of nowhere, and Kenya was supposedly fired after Season 10 for refusing to share her married life with Marc on camera.

Kenya’s dream of becoming a mother finally came true when she gave birth to their daughter, Brooklyn, in November 2018. The couple announced they were splitting up in September 2019, after only two years of marriage. Kenya said, “It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage,” she said. “My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby.”

The messy fight that led to the split was filmed. In September 2019, Marc and Kenya had an argument when Marc was hosting a charity event. Marc didn’t like being in front of the cameras. And since he resided in New York City for business, that added additional stress to the relationship.

Of course, there were also rumors that Marc was cheating on Kenya. But after all that, the couple tried to work things out. The palpable level of tension whenever the duo was on camera together was difficult to watch. Marc was controlling and often disrespectful, so I am baffled as to why Kenya fought for the relationship.

Well, the couple is calling it quits…again. Marc released a statement to The Root about his marriage to Kenya. “After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage. I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom,” Marc said. Then Marc moved on to promote his charitable endeavors.

He said, “As always, in addition to perpetual self-improvement, my primary focus will continue to be helping the underserved and people of color in Brooklyn to recover from the negative impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic. This focus will take shape through using my restaurant as a “Community Hub” where positive and diverse perspectives on important topics such as economic empowerment, social activism and political engagement can be highlighted in a safe and productive forum,” Marc added.

In closing, Marc commented, “I’m blessed to be a positive change agent for not just my family but also my community.” Apparently, Marc likes to toot his own horn. I am waiting to hear what Kenya has to say about the split.
