Along with announcing a price increase to the Xbox Live Gold service (then quickly reversing it), Microsoft has announced the next group of games to hit the Games With Gold service. Among them (and with perfect timing) are Capcom’s remake of Resident Evil for the Xbox One, another Capcom title for the Xbox 360 in Lost Planet 2, LucasFilm’s original Xbox title Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb, and The Coalition’s Gears 5, also for the Xbox One.
In addition to backtracking on the price increase, Microsoft also announced that free-to-play games will no longer require an Xbox Live Gold membership to play online.
Resident Evil and Gears 5 will be available the entire month of February, Lost Planet 2 will be available from February 16 to 28, while Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb will be available only from February 1st to the 15th. Also available is Raw Fury’s Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition for the Xbox One from February 16 to March 15.
