On the latest episode of Southern Charm, Austen Kroll came to the realization that Madison LeCroy was having problems letting go of their relationship. On the one hand, she didn’t want to date him, but on the other hand she made it clear she wouldn’t want him to see other people.
It’s so toxic that other cast members are getting involved. Craig Conover blatantly asked Madison to cut herself out of Austen’s life. Rather than take the advice, Madison chose to display her frustrations with Austen in a very public way. The reverb from their interaction at the beach party is still being felt within the cast, and newbie John Pringle warns viewers that it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
Pringle told Us Weekly that the two-part season reunions will be volatile. He described the interaction between Madison and Austen as “horrible to watch.”
It seems like Madison and Austen dig deep during the reunion. Maybe things are rehashed from their prior season together, because Pringle admitted to being totally lost as to what they were arguing about.
“I think I say something to him on camera, like, ‘What’s happening? What is this?’” Pringle said, “because I had no idea that’s how it was. No one wants to see their friend just getting berated or told, you know, told to shut the F up [or] whatever. No one wants to see their buddy get belittled in front of a group of people.”

Earlier in the season, Pringle was quite smitten with Madison. But seeing her interaction with Austen has seemingly given Pringle pause on pursuing things further.
“I get along with Madison, but watching her as a girlfriend, I thought was pretty intense,” Pringle said. He labeled Austen and Madison’s relationship as, “horribly toxic.”
But things have gotten better since the reunion aired. Pringle revealed that currently Austen and Madison, “seem to be in a good spot.”
