Kristen Doute Is “Nervous” She Won’t Be Able To Conceive A Baby In The Future

Reality TV

The baby updates keep on coming from former and current Vanderpump Rules stars alike. Stassi Schroeder was the first pregnancy pact member to have a baby. She recently welcomed daughter Hartford into the world. Lala Kent also has a daughter on the way, and is already planning on having her second child. Brittany Cartwright’s son, Jax Jr., will also arrive shortly. Scheana Marie isn’t a member of the pact, but she will be having her baby this year as well.

That leaves two OG stars left, Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute. Neither are pregnant yet, but Katie shared she and Tom Schwartz are on the baby bandwagon and trying to conceive. Katie pretty much already mothers Tom, so she’ll be able to handle a baby just fine. Kristen hasn’t been as vocal about motherhood, but she finally made an update on her plans and if a baby could be in her future.

Kristen had quite a full plate last year, which might have been why having a baby wasn’t at the top of her list. She was let go from Pump Rules due to racist behavior towards former castmate Faith Stowers. Kristen also had a book published on dating advice. Luckily, she listened to her own advice and dropped her relationship with hanger-on Brian Carter and got a new man instead.

Whether it’s FOMO, or being in a stable relationship, Kristen is now talking babies. US Weekly reported that Kristen shared her concerns about having a baby via her Instagram story after a recent doctor’s visit.

Kristen said, “I’ve had really off cycles lately and it’s been making me really nervous because of my age. Going in to [the gynecologist], we were not able to do the tests we were hoping for so it really stressed me out and kind of broke my f–king heart, but we did the best we could with what we could do.” And that’s all you can do when one begins on the journey to have a baby.

It wasn’t all dire news, however. Kristen added, “Good news on those fronts, and we’re just gonna keep track of what we need to keep track of and catch up again in a couple months.” Good for you Kristen, stay the course and stay positive!

Kristen also discussed the timing and when she wants to have a baby. Kristen said she is, “hoping to get pregnant but not this minute. It’s just been a lot of anticipatory anxiety for the last two months of the unknown of what was going on with my body.” For anyone who has struggled to conceive, or started trying to have a baby later in life, the stress and anxiety is real.

US Weekly also reported that Kristen was on the “We Met at ACME” podcast and gave further insight to having a baby of her own. Kristen said, “I did go to the doctor not that long ago, like in the last year, and had everything checked out. I’m still good as of right now. Because after everything Scheana went through with freezing her eggs twice, it’s something I’m considering. I’ve considered adoption.”

Kristen added that “time was ticking,” but she still had “options.” There are definitely a lot of options out there, and Kristen sounds like she is on the right path to figuring out what will work best for her. Hopefully everything will go smoothly once she is ready.
