Brand New Season of TNT’s “Snowpiercer” Begins Crossing a Frozen Earth Later This Month [Trailer]

TNT‘s series adaptation of Bong Joon Ho’s “Snowpiercer” (which was based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob) begins a brand new season on January 25, and the official trailer has pulled into the station today. A new guest is on board for season two, with the trailer previewing the addition of Sean Bean to the show’s cast.

“Mr. Wilford returns to Snowpiercer and brings chaos and corruption to the freedom just won.”

Set after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity who inhabit a perpetually moving train that circles the globe, dealing with class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival.

Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand and Jaylin Fletcher star in the series, which has Graeme Manson as its showrunner.
