I think everyone might agree several shows on Bravo could benefit from a cast shake-up. Even after surviving a controversial season, it appeared the cast of Real Housewives of Potomac would remain intact. To say these ladies have some issues is being generous. From hands-on combat to sketchy “men of God” with more illegitimate children than sense, RHOP checked a lot of unusual boxes.
Viewers will say ta ta to Monique Samuels. Despite a physical fight with Candiace Dillard, Mo originally decided to stay on the show until the reunion changed her mind. There have also been rumors that Robyn Dixon, while not generally disliked, some fans feel she adds nothing to the cast and needs to go sit wherever Juan Dixon is. Obviously Monique’s departure leaves a hole to be filled, but word on the street is RHOP is looking to cast two new people. Is someone’s check in jeopardy? Did having four degrees not make DOCTOR Wendy Osefo interesting? Can we offer T’Challa a spot?
It’s time to play the guessing game. We know Monique is gone. What we don’t know is if someone is getting fired or Bravo thinks two new people need to be brought in to fill one slot. Robyn is heavily denying she has been let go. But she will need to bring something to the show besides being the equivalent of Gizelle Bryant’s talking handbag. Help us out here, Robyn. DOCTOR Wendy’s first season wasn’t exactly mind-blowing, but Monique and Candiace’s fight ran the majority of episodes, so she might have something in her bag of tricks we haven’t seen yet.
There is also a slim chance Ashley Darby might be asked to leave. Not only did RHOP take a lot of heat for the barn brawl and Andy “Bravo Doesn’t Condone Violence” Cohen’s reunion behavior, Ashley’s monogamy-challenged husband ALLEGEDLY finds difficulty in keeping his hands to himself. Without Monique, there are still six cast members but rumors are flying that more are coming on board. Perhaps a successful interior designer that could lend her skills to Gizelle the cast? theJasmineBRAND has details.

A “source” who hopefully isn’t Mother Dorothy because Candiace is tired of people swiping at her, says “They’re trying to add two new women to Potomac.” Insiders shared, with Monique’s absence the show will need to “add fresh faces and new story lines within the cast”. Hello Bravo? I’m speaking for all of us who aren’t done with the Pastor Holy Whore story line yet… The source also said, “Potomac needs to fill Monique’s role on the show. Before Monique quit, production was anticipating following the aftermath of Monique and Candiace – will they reconcile? Will the cast remain divided? Now that she’s gone, they’ll need to explore new people.”
Hey can we get less people with husbands committing sexual harassment this time? Allegedly, of course. Maybe someone who doesn’t blindly enable toxic behavior? The DC Metro/Maryland area is plum full of a diverse group of highly educated (though none as smart as Wendy), wealthy, melting pot of candidates. Let’s keep an open mind and hope they find someone who can provide more content than how to professionally fold a Kleenex.
