Meredith Marks and her husband are giving things another shot.
The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star has reportedly reconciled with her husband Seth after the couple split in November, according to People.
“We decided to try and start over,” Marks, who also called Seth her “best friend,” told the mag.
“We just hit some blips in the road and needed to regroup and reconnect,” she continued, adding that neither of them dated anyone else during their month-long separation.
Meredith and Seth married in 1996 and have three children: Reid, Chloe and Brooks. Meredith credited a couple’s counselor with the change in their relationship: She said the two were “feeling very positive” and “very united” following the sessions.
And she credits the unusual combination of starring in a reality TV show and the coronavirus pandemic with the turnaround.
“The show really forces you to be very introspective and really think about the things you say and how they impact other people,” she explained, before adding that quarantining with Seth led them to “reevaluating what’s important, what you care about.
“We were spending all this time together, which we realized we really wanted to be together, we enjoyed spending time together.”
In November, Meredith explained on the show that the marriage had ended because, “Over the years, it just broke down … There was just no communication and hostility built, and built and built, and we just got so totally overwhelmed that we just were completely disconnected.”
In November, Page Six reported that Seth had filed — and then dismissed — a divorce petition before the cameras began rolling on this season.
