Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith are still going strong despite their breakup earlier this year. The 90 Day Fiancé couple shared how they celebrated Christmas together as a family in South Africa.
Since sharing their love story on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Tiffany and Ronald have been transparent about their struggles to maintain a long-distance relationship. The two met online and fell in love before Tiffany traveled to South Africa with her son Daniel to marry Ronald. The pair have had intentions of Ronald moving to the U.S., but due to his criminal past, his chances of getting a green card became that much more challenging. After their nuptials, the couple conceived their first child together. However, Tiffany decided to return to America due to how unsafe she deemed it for her son. As a result, the married couple has had issues with remaining a solid union due to their relationship being long-distance. Back in January, Tiffany and Ronald released statements announcing their split. While Tiffany kept her message pretty classy, Ronald showed his frustration when sharing that he was looking into filing for divorce.

However, since then the couple has worked out their differences and got back together. In December, Tiffany shared photos of her and her two children spending the Christmas holiday in South Africa with Ronald. “Family,” she captioned a photo that showed the family four all smiles together. Things had been tough for the two during the pandemic due to travel restrictions preventing them from spending more time together like they normally do. But, in October, Tiffany shared a photo slide in celebration of their wedding anniversary. “On this day my man….even though you’re sleeping I wanna show you off for a second,” she captioned the heartfelt post. “No words for you and the craziness between us the highs, the lows, the easy easy middle parts…you stole my heart and never gave it back I love you my crazy ass man!” The slide included a few photos from their wedding as well as others of the two packing on the PDA.
Fans of the show are aware of Ronald’s past issues with a gambling addiction that landed him in jail. He opened up about stealing from his family and loved ones and selling the items so that he could get more money to gamble with.
At the time Tiffany arrived in South Africa to marry him, he was staying in a transitional home after being released from prison. He shared his determination to make his marriage work and appeared devoted to being a father to her young son Daniel. Tiffany’s son was already referring to Ronald as “dad” when the couple announced that Daniel was going to be a big brother. They welcomed their daughter Carly Rose in July 2019.
