Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been into these newer seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey. Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider have been great additions to the Teresa Guidice show. But there is still nothing like the first few seasons of RHONJ. The drama was unparalleled. That’s because it was centered on family drama (say it in your Caroline Manzo reunion voice).
Dina Manzo was a fan favorite. She was also the first Manzo to leave the show. Unfortunately, a whole lot of bad luck followed her and her husband, David Cantin. In 2015, David was assaulted in a parking lot by a hit man hired by Dina’s ex-husband, Tommy Manzo. Two years later, Dina and David were the victims of a violent robbery. The robbery was so scary they relocated to the West Coast. To say Dina needs some relief from this Sopranos-episode-come-to-life would be an understatement. Finally, there’s some good news for her and David.
NBC News reports that the man responsible for assaulting David in the parking lot, John Perna, “pleaded guilty via videoconference to one count of committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering activity.” John also, “faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. His sentencing is scheduled for April 28, 2021.”
NBC News says that, “the indictment also charges Thomas Manzo, 55. His attorney didn’t immediately return a request for comment Wednesday.” It looks like we’ll have to wait and see what Tommy’s punishment will be.

The indictment also reiterated that John and “an unidentified member of his crew followed Cantin to a strip mall,” “armed with a club known as a slapjack,” and “attacked him in the parking lot.”
A month later, John “had his wedding at Thomas Manzo’s venue ‘for a fraction of the price he would otherwise have paid’.”
“The reception was attended by over 330 guests, many of whom were members of the Lucchese Crime Family.” There goes Caroline’s claim that her husband Albert Manzo and her have no ties to crime.

TELL US- WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS STORY? WILL JUSTICE BE SERVED THE LEGAL WAY HERE? WILL CAROLINE FINALLY ADMIT THAT DINA WAS ON THE SIDE OF THE TRUTH?
