Whitney Collings of ‘Bad Girls Club’ dead at 33

Whitney Collings, of mid-aughts Oxygen reality TV show “Bad Girls Club” has died at 33.

The cause of death is unknown and the case is currently with the medical examiner; Collings died in a hospital near her hometown of Boston.

Collings was 21 when she appeared on season three of the show, filmed in 2008 and broadcast from 2008-09. Nicknamed “the Straight Shooter,” her Boston pedigree was an integral part of her personality on the show, as this fan montage shows.

Collings was removed from the show by production after the 11th episode of the series after starting a fight with fellow cast member Amber Meade, “the Firecracker.”

Widely panned by critics, “Bad Girls Club” was the source of a wide variety of controversies throughout its run, though it did pick up a number of spin-offs, none of which Collings was involved in.
