Have no fear! After a slight break, the filming for Real Housewives of New York has resumed. There has been a lot of speculation about casting this year. After Dorinda Medley was fired there were more than a few rumors about who would take her place. We officially know that Eboni K. Williams has been cast.
There’s also some tea that holla-back girl Heather Thomson will be returning part time! Fingers crossed she’s returned to knock Corona Ramona Singer down a few pegs like the good old days. Heather has been spotted with both Ramona and Luann de Lesseps. This could get wild. Meanwhile, Heather is commenting on who else she’d love to share the RHONY stage with.
People covered an interview Heather recently did on the RealiTea with Derek Z podcast. She revealed that, despite her sordid history with former co-Housewife Aviva Drescher, she would love to see her return to the RHONY franchise. I’m just as confused as you all are.
Heather revealed, “I think Aviva — I would love to film with her again on [Real Housewives of New York] because I feel like we would have a lot fun.” Really? I’m still haunted by Lu’s BBQ where Heather told Aviva no one liked her or wanted to be around her. That said, I’d totally watch round 2.

Heather shared, “She’s had a lot of time to think about her time on the show. Even though maybe some of the things that happened I didn’t agree with, I know her intention was not to be a big, bad girl…She’s got a really good heart and she’s a kind person.” I feel like I’m in another dimension.
The last time we saw these two together, other than the reunion, Aviva was slamming her prosthetic leg, stiletto and all, on the table after Heather called her a liar. Take a moment to reread that as many times as you need. It happened.

Heather hasn’t forgotten either. She blurted, “She helped make me iconic…I mean, I was the one that got the leg thrown at the head.”
At the head? Hardly. But it’s hard to deny the fireworks between these two would be epic to see again. Even Lu agrees!
