It’s that time of year once again—the 2021 Grammy Awards nominations are being announced today. The artists and recordings up for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, and more will be revealed starting at 12 p.m. Eastern by interim Recording Academy president and CEO Harvey Mason jr. At the 2020 Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish swept all four of the major categories. Other notable moments that night included the first Grammy win for Tyler, the Creator, multiple wins for Lizzo and Lady Gaga, a Pop Duo/Group win for Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus, Vampire Weekend winning Best Alternative Music Album, a posthumous win for Nipsey Hussle, Rosalía winning Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album, and more. The show included performances from Eilish, Tyler, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Lil Nas X with BTS and Nas, Rosalía, and more.
