Before Wells appeared on JoJo’s season, he was working as a radio DJ in Nashville, according to The List. His LinkedIn page reveals that the Bachelorette alum has been working as an on-air personality for iHeart Radio for over 5 years. Wells also has a podcast with iHeart Radio called “WellsCast.” On the podcast, he interviews celebrities about their careers and how they got where they are today. The radio personality has another podcast with Noah and Miley Cyrus’ older sister Brandi Cyrus, which is called “Your Favorite Thing with Wells and Brandi.” On that podcast, Wells and Brandi discuss all of their most beloved things, from TV to movies to music. The podcast has had a number of famous guests from Bachelor Nation. Even Brandi’s sister Noah made an appearance. Aside from working in radio and being a podcast host, Wells did red carpet interviews on E! for the Grammy Awards this past year, and has been the bartender on Bachelor in Paradise for the past three seasons, replacing former bartender, Jorge.

Modern Family Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams The Bachelorette

In 2017, Wells revealed on his podcast with Brandi that he had begun dating someone in Los Angeles. During the summer, he and Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland sparked a friendship. She tweeted about how happy she was about Wells becoming the bartender on BIP. According to Bustle, she revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that Wells had slid into her DMs on Twitter after he saw her tweet. The two began dating shortly after the exchange. In October 2017, it was revealed that the two had been dating for a few months. A year later, it came to light that Wells had moved to Los Angeles. He’d moved in with Sarah! They were taking the next step in their relationship. In July 2019, Wells proposed to Sarah while they were on vacation in Fiji. The couple was supposed to get married in August, but the nuptials were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Wells and Sarah have quickly become one of Bachelor Nation’s cutest couples, even though Sarah was never a contestant.

Since appearing on The Bachelorette, Wells has been pretty successful in his career and his personal life. He has a number of podcasts, works in radio, and is getting married to one of the coolest girls in the business.
