‘Phasmophobia’ Update Allows Deceased Players to Haunt The Living

Horror

We talked last week about how Kinetic Games has switched up their Early Access plans for Phasmophobia. And it seems that part of the plan is to update the game with some new features, after all. The latest update to the co-op ghost-hunting game now includes a much-requested feature: players who have been killed by the ghost can now mess with their still-living friends.

Originally, when a player met their demise, they spent the rest of that round in limbo where they can see the ghost and other players. Now, dead players can grab non-equipment objects and toss them around to mess with their friends who are still looking for the ghost.

That’s not all, either. Kinetic took to Twitter to tease a new prison level for the game. The map has actually been on the backburner since March, but has now graduated to being “in progress”. As for when it’ll be ready, that’s yet to be announced.

Phasmophobia is currently on Steam.
