John Cena will still go to the mat for Nikki Bella.
Bella, 36, told Us Weekly this week that “John and I will be tied forever … All I’ve ever wanted was for him to be happy.”
And she revealed that Cena obviously wants the same for her, reaching out in July after Nikki gave birth to her first son, Matteo, with fiancé Artem Chigvintsev.
“So with the baby, he reached out to Brie and I both,” Nikki told Us. “We haven’t had an individual conversation in gosh, I don’t know how long, but it was very short and sweet!”
Bella, split from Cena, 43, in 2018. She and Chigvintsev got engaged in January. Nikki’s twin sister, Brie, and her husband Bryan Danielson welcomed their second child — Buddy, a boy — only a day after Nikki gave birth.
Cena and Bella have come a long way from the bitter fallout over the end of their 11-month engagement; there was a period of time during which the two refused to discuss each other. Children were a sticking point for the pair: Cena at one point volunteered to have his vasectomy reversed for Bella.
K-pop fan Cena got hitched to Shay Shariatzadeh in October.
