Tom Holland reveals a Spider-Man 3 set photo of himself in costume as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man as filming on the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie officially starts. Last summer, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures struck a deal for Holland’s Spider-Man to stay in the MCU – of which he’s been a part since 2016’s Captain America: Civil War – and announced plans for a third film in the superhero’s solo franchise as well as another team-up adventure. At the time, Spider-Man 3 was slated for a 2021 release date, but that has since been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
With Hollywood beginning to get back on track and new movies entering production, Spider-Man 3 has been heading toward a filming start. Over the last few weeks, the stars of Spider-Man 3, including Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, have assembled in Atlanta, Georgia. Further, some of the stars have teased their first glimpses at the film’s script. Now Holland has gone a step further and posted a photo of himself in costume on set.
On Instagram, Holland unveiled a new Spider-Man 3 image taken on the set of the Marvel movie featuring the actor wearing his superhero costume from Spider-Man: Far From Home. The actor also sports another mask on top of it, in reference to the film’s safety protocols to combat the spread of COVID-19. In the caption, Holland writes, “Wear a mask, I’m wearing two…” Check out the post below.
More to come…
