No stranger to chasing her passions, 90 Day Fiancé alumni Paola Mayfield has dabbled (and found some success in) the worlds of modelling, nutrition and personal training in the years since her stint on the inaugural season. Back in 2014, viewers watched the vivacious Colombian beauty and her husband Russ Mayfield incessantly battle over their careers, where to live and how much skin she could show in the process. Oh- and let’s not forget how Paola and her friends and family essentially called Russ a controlling, boring-ass prude for the entire duration of the season! Ah, memories.
Anywho! The couple has been married for the past seven years, are settled in Miami and welcomed an adorable son named Axel just last year. Besides recently appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, fans have been able to follow Paola‘s life on Instagram where she mostly posts photos of her family and her rock hard abs (…although I can’t say I blame her, really). But it was a photo of Paola’s latest side hustle that had fans both curious and excited about what could potentially be coming from her next.
Soap Dirt reported that Paola is making her dream of pursuing music a reality after posting a photo of her recently spending time in a studio. Even though she did some recording and released a snippet of it in October, she did not reveal any further details besides teasing fans that they could expect something from her soon. Whatever it is, many fans seem eager to hear the finished product. Even fellow franchise alum Annie Suwan said she can’t wait to dance to whatever music Paola creates!
Adding some credibility to her new venture, one of the producers Paola is working with is a Latin Grammy, Latin AMA and Latin Billboard winner. So, whatever she’s making in the studio seems to be in some very reputable hands. WAIT- it’s not Gloria Estefan, is it? No. It can’t be…. or can it?

Music is just one of many changes happening in Paola and Russ‘ lives. On top of rocking a fun pink hairdo, Paola and her family recently packed up and moved into a new home. It was hard to leave their old house because it’s where Axel was born. However, they are looking forward to beginning this new chapter. New house, new hair and hopefully some new music- all very positive things for the Mayfield family (especially in this rollercoaster of a year, am I right?).
