Lady Gaga Stumps For Biden, Performs “Shallow” at Pennsylvania Rally: Watch

Music, News

Lady Gaga joined Joe Biden at a drive-in campaign event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, giving a speech and performing her hits “Shallow” and “Yoü And I.” Check it out below.

Gaga came out to Childish Gambino’s “This is America” and gave a short speech, saying, “Now is the time to vote like the country depends on it, because it does.” In a later performance, she sat at a white grand piano and sang her hits “Shallow” and “Yoü And I.” She also addressed earlier criticism of a video she made in support of Biden, wearing camouflage and drinking a beer. “I will not be told what I can and cannot wear to endorse our next president,” she said, adding, “I might not always look like you but I am you.” The president’s director of communications had previously released a statement calling Gaga an “anti-fracking activist.”

Gaga released her latest LP, Chromatica, in May. In September, she shared a new video for the Chromatica track “911.”
