Keldeo is a legendary Pokemon from the Unova region that makes its appearance in Pokemon: Crown Tundra DLC. This guide will help players locate it. Pokemon: Sword & Shield has recently concluded its first-ever expansion pass with the release of Crown Tundra. The Pokemon series has released a definitive “third” edition for almost every generation but with the eighth generation, Game Freak has decided to mix things up by releasing paid DLC content. These are added to the base Pokemon: Sword & Shield game and continue the player’s adventure in the Galar region. In the Crown Tundra, many legendary Pokemon are making a return to the game. Keldeo originates from the Unova region as the fourth pony Pokemon that players can capture. Keldeo is a member of the Swords of Justice, a group made up of Cobalion, Virizion, Terrakion, and Keldeo itself and they all make an appearance in the Crown Tundra. Unlike plenty of the other legendary Pokemon like Suicune and Rayquaza that are collected by participating in the new Dynamax Adventure, Keldeo is a Pokemon that is tied into the lore of the Crown Tundra and needs to be discovered. Here’s how players can find Keldeo in the game.
Where To Find Keldeo in the Pokemon: Crown Tundra DLC
In order to find Keldeo, the player will first need to find Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion or transfer these Pokemon over from Pokemon Home. To find these Pokemon, the player will need to find every footstep hidden around the Crown Tundra for all three of these Pokemon. Once the player finds them all, head over to Sonia in Freezington and she will give the player a ton of EXP Candy. Now, place all three of these Pokemon in your party then head over to Ballimere Lake. There will be a black pot on the lake. Now, set up Pokemon Camp and create some curry. Once the curry is completed, close camp and Keldeo will appear on the map. Players will now have all 4 of the Swords of Justice available in the game.
Pokemon Sword & Shield has finally come to a close with the release of the Crown Tundra. There is currently no announcement for more DLC to come to the game in the future and it is fairly unlikely. Game Freak will likely push towards developing a new Pokemon title rather than going back to the Galar region. Although, the DLC has been a massive treat for fans of the region. Hopefully, this will be the method for distributing new content in the future.
Pokemon: Crown Tundra DLC is available now on Nintendo Switch.
