NeNe Leakes Reportedly Wanted $125k To Attend Cynthia Bailey’s Wedding

Man, you can do a lot with $125k. That would be a nice down payment on something substantial. It could be a generous donation to a worthy cause. You could probably put a couple of kids through college with that amount of money. Another thing $125k would bring is NeNe Leakes to your wedding. 2020 has got jokes and jokes.

As everyone in the free world seems to know, NeNe has departed from her OG position on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Gone but definitely not forgotten, because NeNe won’t leave us alone allow us to forget. NeNe’s former best friend Cynthia Bailey finally wed Mike Hill earlier this month. Most of the RHOA cast was on the guest list. NeNe was also on the guest list, but she wasn’t trying to attend as a courtesy. She wanted to get paid. Allegedly.

2020 hasn’t been great for anyone, but NeNe has had it the worst of all! Or at least that’s what she wants you to think. NeNe needs money, y’all. Desperate times call for desperate measures! Right now NeNe is suffering from some losses. Her clothing store closed its doors this year.

She managed to lose an incredibly well-paying, high profile gig. There were murmurs of other opportunities, but we’re still waiting for them to come to fruition. In the meantime, NeNe has bills to pay.

According to Tamara Tattles, NeNe wanted some coin to attend Cynthia’s wedding to Mike. This wedding has been a long time coming for Cynthia, though a worldwide pandemic threatened to shatter her big event. Many of the RHOA ladies attended Cynthia’s nuptials and did not request financial compensation for their presence. And then there’s NeNe.

An exclusive source said, “NeNe Leakes demanded $125,000 to show up to Cynthia Bailey’s wedding yesterday.” Just a sec. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Somehow this does not surprise me in the least. After accusing Bravo of mistreatment. Calling Andy Cohen a racist. Making fun of Wendy Williams’ medical condition, how could anyone be shocked that she wanted to be paid for an appearance. As a guest. At her friend’s wedding. I might pay that much for Simon Le Bon to show up at my party, but $125k seems like a lot to give someone who is probably going to lowkey insult you the entire time.

Turns out though, Bravo declined to film the super spreader ceremony. Why? Because of COVID concerns. While guests appeared to be masked up and following precautions, apparently Bravo values their production team more than a chance to see Cynthia walk down the aisle again.

As for NeNe, she might need some new negotiation tactics in her life. Like not biting the hand that feeds you. She wanted $125,000 an episode and Bravo said no problem. “An episode” translates into six to eight episodes. Not for a one-time spotlight moment like a high school debutante. Instead, NeNe left behind a $750k salary (you know, like working at McDonald’s) and tells the world she has been #mistreatedbybravo.
