Season 16 of “The Bachelorette” has finally kicked off, after months of delay.
Though rumors are swirling that Clare Crawley may be replaced by Tayshia Adams in the coming episodes, she started out her season of the hit ABC dating show like all others.
The 39-year-old left the first cocktail party smitten with several men, including Dale Moss. After meeting him, she said, “I knew it. I definitely feel like I just met my husband.”
But they couldn’t all be winners. After a dramatic confrontation between two men that dominated part of the cocktail hour, several guys didn’t get time to make a first impression with Clare.
The cast of 31 men was pared down to 23 during the first rose ceremony.
Here’s who didn’t make the cut.
“The Bachelorette” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC.
Tyler C.
Tyler C. (not to be confused with Bachelor Nation favorite Tyler C.) came to the cocktail party armed with information about contestant Yosef. He tried to warn Clare about Yosef’s flirty DMs to other girls. His plan backfired and got him sent home, while Yosef will live to fight another week.
AJ
AJ said his friends told him he doesn’t make a good first impression. Unfortunately, his friends were right.
Chris
Landscape design salesman Chris, 27, didn’t have the right chemistry to woo Clare.
Jeremy
The 40-year-old is the oldest person to ever compete on the show. Despite his record-breaking number, he couldn’t find love with the oldest “Bachelorette” in history.
Jordan M.
A cybersecurity engineer from Santa Monica, Calif., Jordan M. wasn’t a good match for Clare.
Mike
Canadian sweetheart Mike wasn’t right for the Bachelorette.
Page
Page, a 27-year-old chef from Austin, was heartbroken leaving the “Bachelorette” resort after not getting enough time to form a connection with Clare.
Robby
Robby, a 31-year-old insurance broker, is not Clare’s Mr. Right.
