Holy hell, the first trailer for “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” is here.
The newest franchise premieres on November 11 at 10 p.m. EST. The series will follow six rich and powerful women of Utah — Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Mary Cosby, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose and Jen Shah.
Despite holding CGI-snowflakes in their title sequence, these women seem anything but chill.
Though Andy Cohen is usually the lord and savior to the “Housewives” women, there’s a new king in town on “RHOSLC” — God.
“I’m a purebred pioneer Morman,” says Gay in the clip. “I’m Jewish, I’m from Chicago,” explains Marks. Cosby is a pentecostal Christian. Barlow explains she is “Jewish by heritage, Mormon by choice.” Rose is an ex-Mormon.
Shah also left the Mormon faith but is converting to Islam. “As-Salamu Alaykum, bitches,” she says.
The trailer features the women drinking, dancing on stripper poles, having a wedding ceremony and crying at graves.
Cosby has already made headlines for her eyebrow-raising biography on the Bravo site: She was able to take over her family’s business only if she married her late grandmother’s second husband, Robert. They’ve been together for 20 years and have a son together.
