Gregg Leakes Praises Nene Leakes As “One Of The Strongest Black Women On This Planet” Following Real Housewives Of Atlanta Exit

Considering that nearly half of the season had already been filmed without NeNe Leakes, it wasn’t surprising when NeNe finally made it official and announced her exit from Real Housewives of Atlanta. Girl, we all saw the photos of the cast filming. We already knew you weren’t there.

We all know that NeNe was holding out for more money. And, once again, I would just love to know how much money we’re talking here. How much was on the table? How much did she want instead? But anyway, NeNe’s exit has given her something she hasn’t had in a long time: positive headlines. Sure, the recent seasons have been rough to watch since NeNe became increasingly narcissistic and entitled. However, we must give credit where it is due. NeNe made Real Housewives of Atlanta the iconic show that it is… during the early seasons, anyway.

Then again, she really did give us the most to talk about in recent seasons as well, that was just pretty much all negative. I sure miss the NeNe from earlier seasons and I will always give her props for “close your legs to married men” and “I said what I said” among other iconic one-liners.

Someone else who’s giving her some praise is her husband Gregg Leakes, you know, the guy she said got cancer as “karma.” Yet, here he is coming through as her biggest supporter. Again.

Gregg shared a very FaceTuned photo of NeNe and wrote, “HAVE YOU SEEN THIS WOMAN… Then if you have, you have seen one of the Strongest Black Women on this planet.”

“Trust me I know.. I have seen her go thru what most couldn’t. I have see her take blows that would knock most off their feet, I have see her deal with soooo much pressure and keep it moving,” Gregg wrote.

He continued, “I have see her laugh and I have seen her cry. This Woman is Amazing in many ways.”

Gregg concluded, “I can say ALL of this and more, cause I’m her husband and Very Proud to be so. Babe, Stand in YOUR Truth and YOUR Beliefs, God got YOU… Love and Happiness hunni… Yasssssssss…..”

We could all use a Gregg in our lives, couldn’t we? Hopefully, this time away from the cameras will be a good thing for their relationship and overall happiness.
