Does it seem like Denise Richards lied during the most recent season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Of course, it does, many times over. However, that doesn’t make it OK for the rest of the cast members to take it upon themselves to out her for allegedly hooking up with Brandi Glanville, especially since Brandi isn’t even a cast member anymore.
We all know Brandi could use that full-time cast member check. Hell, she could even use one of those part-time Friend of the Housewives paychecks. Brandi didn’t even have that status this season. Instead, she made four appearances and provided a storyline for all of the Housewives to chime in on and avoid talking about their own lives. Brandi used Denise, and in turn, the actual Housewives and production used Brandi. It’s funny how that works, isn’t it?
Months before the firing, Luann de Lesseps talked with Heather McDonald on the Juicy Scoop podcast. The women covered a wide range of topics during the interview, but, of course, the Denise and Brandi drama came up.
Luann told Heather, “Listen, Brandi has not been on the show for years, right? I mean, and what a comeback. Let’s talk about that.”

Then she said what many people have been thinking: “I guess that, obviously, Brandi needs a hook. This is a great hook to get back into the Housewives at Denise’s expenses.” Exactly. Whether something sexual happened or not, Denise is just a part of Brandi’s quest to get back on TV in a full-time capacity.
When Heather related the drama to Luann’s song “Girl Code,” Luann laughed and agreed, “She broke the girl code. It’s true.”

Luann added, “I mean, I get it. I get why Brandi would do such a thing, but that’s Brandi’s MO at Denise’s expense. She did break the girl code.”
If it did happen, Luann said, “I think Denise should own it” [and say] ‘So what?’” And, of course, it’s too late for that now since Denise exited the show months after this interview took place.
