Charlie Sheen thinks that ex-wife Denise Richards made the right call when she decided to leave “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
As rumors bubbled that the controversial actor may have had a hand in convincing her to quit the Bravo show, Sheen denied that he’d given her a nudge.
“She does what she wants in these matters,” he told us through his publicist Jeffrey Ballard, but he added, “And I applaud her decision of ‘one and done.’” (Richards was actually on the show for two seasons, but then again Sheen never let logic get in the way of a good catchphrase.)
Bravo sources told Page Six that Richards jumped ship because the network wouldn’t pay her as much money as she wanted to re-up her contract for a third season, while sources close to the “Wild Things” star insisted that she left without even negotiating because she didn’t enjoy her second season.
Richards, who joined the cast in 2019, clashed with castmates and was accused of having an affair with “Housewife” Brandi Glanville. Richards denies having any tryst.
Sheen and Richards were married from 2002 to 2006 and have two kids together.
