Time is an illusion.
For those who didn’t find what they were looking for with Tenet, Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead‘s (Resolution, Spring, V/H/S: Viral, The Endless) sci-fi thriller Synchronic promises to deliver all kinds of insane mind-fuckery that’s all wrapped up in what one critic called a “Lovecraftian nightmare.”
As reported last week, Well Go USA will bring the film to drive-ins and traditional theaters on October 23, although Moorhead and Benson released a statement on Twitter in the wake of this news, letting their fans know that they cannot condone going to traditional theaters at this time.
Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan star in Synchronic as two New Orleans paramedics, whose lives are ripped apart after encountering a series of horrific deaths linked to a designer drug with bizarre, otherworldly effects.
Joe Lipsett called the film “a daring go for broke sci-fi original” in his BD review.
