Electronic Arts’ The Sims 4 offers a variety of expansion packs, game packs, and stuff packs to allow players even more options when it comes to creating their dream life. Most recently, it was announced that a Star Wars-themed game pack was coming to the life simulation game, titled Star Wars: Journey to Batuu, allowing players to create their own lightsabers, droids and much more.
However, the game pack received an overwhelmingly negative response from fans of the franchise, as many players were hoping EA would listen to the fanbase’s hopes for future content. But with the reveal that there’s a new stuff pack set to release soon, fans are now hoping the publisher has taken their demands into consideration and the next Sims 4 stuff pack will incorporate elements players have been hoping for.

Recently, a placeholder name for a Sims 4 stuff pack appeared on Origin, and some players were even able to purchase it, though they weren’t able to download it afterwards. EA took to Twitter to acknowledge the existence of the stuff pack and to say that anyone who purchased it prematurely will be issued a refund. “We’re aware of an issue that caused a Sims 4 SP to become available for purchase early,” EA’s official support account tweeted. “To all those who bought this mystery pack already, thank you for your support – look out for a refund coming your way soon!”
EA May Have Hinted What The Stuff Pack Will Be
It’s still unclear what the theme of the upcoming stuff pack will be, but there are several apparent hints that may be pointing in its direction. Some fans are convinced the theme will be romance based on several key tweets. The Sims official Twitter account tweeted EA Help’s tweet by including a GIF of two cats from the Sims making hearts at each other. “Oops… cats and keyboards don’t mix!” the tweet read.
Even more, senior producer at Maxis, Dave Miotke, tweeted an image of a flirty plumbob. A romance-themed stuff pack for The Sims 4 could include various items to impress a Sims’ significant other, like flowers, chocolates, and the like. But with Valentine’s still a ways away, a romance-themed stuff pack may seem oddly placed.
Electronic Arts released a community survey for The Sims 4 earlier this year, which has fans guessing what future DLCs could look like. While many fans were disappointed the Star Wars game pack didn’t incorporate elements from the survey, it’s very possible the new stuff pack will. Some of the ideas that were included in the survey were a culinary quest, shopping malls, and even a cheer-themed DLC. However, what may be the most telling is the fact that modern love and romance was one of the themes teased.
The survey teased elements such as digital dating, different relationship types, and even suggested players could explore their Sim’s romantic preferences. The inclusion of this theme coupled with the suggestive tweets seems to heavily imply a romance-themed game pack could be underway. But for now, it remains to be seen what the leaked Sims 4 stuff pack will incorporate.
