Barely a week after news of her split with husband Jihoon Lee broke, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg has posted a picture of a new man on Instagram. Although the photo is strategically cropped, the man in Deavan’s post with Taeyang is said to be her rumored boyfriend, Christopher “Topher” Park. The 90 Day Fiancé star’s comments are now filling up with fans who are either upset or extremely confused.
It took mere seconds for news of Jihoon and Deavan’s breakup to spread like wildfire back in late August. TLC viewers (and the couple’s supporters) wished it wasn’t true, but hours later, Jihoon Lee took to Instagram LIVE to confirm the split… and Deavan’s relocation to America. Korean 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Jihoon vowed to change for the better but appeared to be heartbroken as he asked fans and followers to “please pray for Deavan and Taeyang.” Jihoon also hinted at Deavan having found a new man. So did news sources who claimed he was of Korean origin but living in Los Angeles. Certain inquisitive TLC viewers were then quick to find out who Deavan’s mystery boyfriend was, by digging through her ‘follower’ list on Instagram. It was revealed that the man in question was Christoper AKA Topher Hyun Park, an accountant/actor that Deavan had met through mutual friends. The couple was revealed to be taking turns flying out to meet each other in Los Angeles and Utah. The reports had also mentioned that Topher “doesn’t care for” the reality show 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way and that he was yet to meet Deavan’s children Taeyang (whose father is Jihoon) and Drascilla (from a previous relationship). Deavan’s latest post reveals that Topher has finally met Taeyang, and they wear matching clothes!

The 90 Day Fiancé star Deavan posted about her trip to Wrightwood, California a few hours ago, on her Deavan Clegg Instagram. The first picture in the post has her holding baby Taeyang against a scenic background, but her followers were in for a massive surprise when they swiped to see the second picture. The photo has a man who’s wearing the same plaid shirt as Taeyang. The man is holding Taeyang in a fatherly fashion. The man isn’t Jihoon. Observant fans noticed that this guy has the same tattoo as Topher Park in his Topher Park Instagram pictures, and it didn’t take them much time to confirm his identity. The comments started rolling in from fans who, unaware of the fact that Deavan and Jihoon are no longer together, asked, “Who’s the new man?” and “What happened with Jihoon?”
But the certain few who knew of the 90 Day Fiancé couple’s split questioned Deavan about her intentions regarding posting the photo. “What a sh**ty thing for you to do. Do you even allow Jihoon to see his baby?” asked a follower, to which Deavan replied, “Yes, I do but he hasn’t reached out.” A few days ago, Deavan Clegg accused Jihoon Lee of using their son for sympathy and indicated that he hasn’t “called, texted, or asked about Taeyang,” in weeks. However, Deavan still has her supporters in the 90 Day Fiancé fan community, one of whom posted, “Ya’ll the show was filmed a year ago. Deavan is allowed to move on.”
If the timeline between Deavan and Jihoon’s breakup is traced, the 90 Day Fiancé pair seems to have split sometime during early 2020. The supertease for the TLC show’s upcoming second-half features Deavan still in South Korea as the Coronavirus outbreak takes place. The young mother had earlier conducted an IGTV session where she’d claimed to have been a victim of racism in South Korea and had said that she would move back to the USA as soon as she had enough money. What exactly led to her breakup with soon to be ex-husband Jihoon is not known, but the 90 Day Fiancé star has surely tried to confirm that the rumors about Topher Park are all true.
