Those who were bummed that Capcom didn’t make an appearance this past weekend at Gamescom will be pleased to learn that not only will Capcom be at TGS 2020, but they’ll be bringing along Resident Evil Village to the event. That’s on top of Capcom’s own TGS Live Event, which will be streamed from Saturday, September 26th to Sunday, September 27th.
During this streamed event, Capcom’s development teams will be showing off their latest games. The show will be broadcast via the “CapcomUSA” Twitch channel, in case you’re not up on your Japanese. Of course, the day you’ll want to tune in will be on Sunday, as that’s when Capcom will be rolling out the Resident Evil Village goodies.
Capcom is keeping mum on the details for now, but there’s always a chance someone will end up giving up the goods early. Perhaps we’ll be getting confirmation on the rumours/footage that came out of the more recent playtests? Or that rumoured Resident Evil 4 remake? We’ll see.
Tokyo Games Show 2020 will run from September 23 to September 27. Resident Evil Village will be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC next year.
