Upcoming ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’ Will Have Zombies Mode; Zombies Coming to ‘Warzone’

Horror

Activision has announced a new Call of Duty game with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the direct sequel to the original and fan-favorite Call of Duty: Black Ops. And along with that comes the obvious question for horror fans: What about Zombies?

Activision was ready with an answer, stating that Zombies will be included in the game, but that the reveal will be happening “in the coming weeks”. However, for those who can’t wait, Activision said that not only will Zombies be in the new game, but will be coming to their free-to-play multiplayer spin-off, Warzone! It’s all part of the integration and cross-progression that Activision is implementing with Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.

Of course, once again, details will be revealed over the coming weeks. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be launching for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net on November 13, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions arriving this holiday, “depending on when consoles are available to consumers.” Activision will share the first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer gameplay via Twitch on September 9.
