The Chicks sang the national anthem on the Democratic National Convention’s final night. They opened a night headlined by a speech from Joe Biden with a remote performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Watch it happen below.
Last night, Billie Eilish did a rendition of her new single “my future” for the DNC. She also shared a message about the importance of voting. Earlier in the evening, Ben Gibbard sang a few songs during the remote telecast: Death Cab for Cutie’s “Northern Lights” and the Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights,” the latter of which he dedicated to the United States Postal Service.
