Keanu Reeves Writing Violent Comic ‘BRZRKR’ Featuring a Warrior That Looks a Lot Like Keanu Reeves

Horror

Beloved actor Keanu Reeves is entering the world of comic books with the upcoming 12-issue series BRZRKR, USA Today reports, a violent action tale starring… Keanu Reeves?!

The limited series will be released through Boom! Studios, with issues coming out monthly beginning on October 7. Reeves is hard at work writing the tale with Matt Kindt.

Described as “action-packed” and “hyper-violent,” USA Today teases the plot:

BRZRKR centers on a warrior who looks a lot like a certain beloved actor and has walked a blood-soaked path across the world for centuries. In present day, the Berzerker does dangerous jobs for the U.S. government in exchange for the truth about his existence.”

Alessandro Vitti is illustrating the series, which could make the leap to the big or small screen. Reeves notes during the chat with USA Today that he’d love to play the character.
