Watch Angel Olsen and Hand Habits Cover Tom Petty’s “Walls”

Angel Olsen and Hand Habits performed a cover of Tom Petty’s “Walls” on Cosmic Stream 2 last night (July 14). The ticketed event, held at the Masonic Temple in Asheville, North Carolina, was produced by Swing Left and Minneapolis’ First Avenue club. Check out the performance of “Walls” below.

Angel Olsen released her fourth album All Mirrors last October. Earlier this year, Olsen covered Roxy Music’s “More Than This” from their 1982 album Avalon. She also shared a remix of the All Mirrors title track by Chromatics’ Johnny Jewel. In 2019, Hand Habits’ Meg Duffy released their sophomore album placeholder and the wildfire covers EP, in which Olsen and four other artists covered the placeholder song “wildfire.”
