Despite of the recently-announced delay of Crysis Remastered, the game will still be releasing on the Nintendo Switch on July 23rd, according to developer Crytek. The pre-order page is still up on the Nintendo eShop, for those interested.
No word yet on when the game, which is being reworked after the negative response to the graphics in the leaked trailer, will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
In Crysis, you start out on a simple rescue mission that quickly becomes the battleground of a new war as alien invaders swarm over a North Korean island chain. Armed with a powerful Nanosuit, you can become invisible to stalk enemy patrols, or boost your strength to lay waste to vehicles. The Nanosuit’s speed, strength, armor, and cloaking allow creative solutions for every kind of fight, while a huge arsenal of modular weaponry provides unprecedented control over play style. In the ever-changing environment, adapt tactics and gear to dominate your enemies, in an enormous sandbox world.
