Casting for Below Deck Mediterranean functions like any other reality TV show. It’s all about aesthetics and the drama factor. How will these set of characters mesh so that there’s the right amount of hookups, fights, and good times?
Production erred big time when casting Pete Hunziker this season, but the rest of the cast has been very refreshing especially with the return of Bugsy Drake and Malia White. Of course Bravolebrities also have to make the rounds on Watch What Happens Live, so a charismatic or funny personality is always in order.
Alex Radcliffe and Hindringo “Kiko” Lorran appeared on the July 6th episode of Watch What Happens Live. And it looks like Alex won host Andy Cohen over with his confidence and unique sense of humor.
The real news, according to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, was Alex’s choice of outfit. He wore a custom made T-shirt with a photo of himself and Andy on it. The photo was a bad splice and dice job. Alex used a photo of the host with singer John Mayer then photo shopped his head onto John Mayer’s body.

Andy memorialized the moment by posting the clip on Twitter and captioning it “I love someone who goes the extra mile!” During the show, Andy told Alex, “well, guess what Alex. I can’t wait to see you in person and get our own picture.”

The Alex charm is working on Kiko as well. When Kiko was asked if there was anyone that he was initially attracted to, he joked, “no, because I’ve got a girlfriend. Maybe Alex.”

All joking aside, Bugsy had a nice time with Alex on the crew night out this week. The night ended anti-climatically with shrinkage in a cold hot tub, but there is certainly potential for a light-hearted boatmance.
