Capcom Unveils July’s ‘Resident Evil Resistance’ Content Update

Capcom’s Resident Evil 3 multiplayer side dish, Resident Evil Resistance, is getting a fresh update on July 10th. The latest additions to the asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror don’t bring anything new in terms of maps (though a remixed map is coming next month), but there’s a fair bit of dress-up for the survivors, their weaponry, and the undead.

The official Resident Evil Twitter unveiled the latest step in the game’s ongoing road map, which includes nearly 50 new skins for characters and weapons, new gestures, new mastermind voice lines, and more that’s yet to be announced.

The multiplayer game was packaged with the Resident Evil 3 Remake earlier this year, and it appears to be keeping a steady fanbase despite a shaky launch. It’s certainly managed to do (and be) better than the last online Resi title, the eye-gougingly dull Umbrella Corps.

Resident Evil Resistance is out now as part of Resident Evil 3 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
