Willie Nelson and his sister Bobbie Nelson have announced a new joint memoir. It’s called Me and Sister Bobbie: True Tales of the Family Band, and it arrives September 15 via Random House. The book will chronicle the siblings’ longtime bond, including their experiences playing music together over the decades.

Me and Sister Bobbie was edited by Ben Greenberg. According to a press release, the book will unfold across alternating chapters that “weaves together Willie and Bobbie’s journeys as they experienced them both side-by-side and apart, with powerful, emotional never-before-told recollections from their personal lives and careers.”

In addition to the memoir, a picture book by Willie and Bobbie, tentatively titled Sister, Brother, Family: Our Childhood in Music, is set for publication in Fall 2021.

Willie Nelson’s last studio album was 2019’s Ride Me Back Home. His next LP First Rose of Spring is slated to arrive on July 3 (via Legacy).
